Recognizing the technical and curatorial contributions that established the Showa Digital Asset Archive.
We gratefully acknowledge Katherine Strachan for her instrumental work in getting this project started. Her proactivity in locating opportunities for RealityScan fieldwork, workflow design, and the initial corpus-building established the Archive's practical methods for photogrammetric capture, metadata practices, and the conservation of cultural artefacts.
Katherine's generosity in training and protocol design laid the project's technical foundation and enabled the Archive's first demonstrators.
We also gratefully acknowledge Adam Kay for his early contributions to the project's technical and curatorial development. Adam's work on ingestion workflows, asset QA, and metadata harmonization helped scale the initial corpus and shaped our standards for historical fidelity and XR compatibility.
